PLACING FACES PODCAST

Placing Faces was a passion project from the get go. After watching the documentary Casting By, admittedly angry that casting was treated so poorly, I went googling. “Let’s learn about these people.” Lo’ and behold - there were very few quality conversations with Casting Directors outside of Casting talking about casting with casting.

I pitched the idea to my producer Maria Perry and we were off, trying to figure out how to make these conversations happen. Direct outreach and word of mouth, landed us Marci Liroff, and things took off. After two long years we had 30 hours of conversations with casting directors, right before the 2020 pandemic.

Now that the world is back online, Placing Faces is being rebooted to continue the goal of 100 hours of interviews with Casting.
